Extremely informative.

Excellent as the DK Eyewitness books always are. Better that Frommer's or Fodor travel guides, and WAY better than Lonely Planet, which are surprisingly popular considering their limited information and extremely limited photos.

Great info but don't throw your older edition

It is a great book as a travel guide with tons of photos and maps. Lot of additional information, and tips like if have a few days makes it an excellent travel guide.
However there are so many reprints published with minor graphical updates, if you have an older edition up to 2002, chances are you still can use it. I have the 2008 edition of this book and see very minor updates. No additional locations or maps were updated for the sections I looked at.

I thought the book was a little higher priced than same book for other countries I have purchased but when I got the book, it is HUGE! These are great books to have when you are traveling and gives you all information that you will need for your trip. Good customer service and fast shipping.
