Would recommend.

Enjoyed series and hoping author makes more books similar to these. I enjoy the method author makes these books into love story with some erotic/steamy loving and some unique methods of winning heroine's love. The first book was okay, but the last two books are the best of the series. I highly enjoyed them and would recommend this read. I read it on my Kindle Unlimited.
SPOILERS:
First book was the weirdest as we don't even get to meet who hero is and it ends. He makes it seem as if he will be part of heroine's life but I would have liked more clear ending such as the rest of the books in the series. Still good read and I enjoyed it.
Second book was very good in that hero knew heroine but realized quick to win her over he would have to turn into something she "needed". He set things up very nicely. I loved the "seduction" scene (maybe some dub con but read it to decide). It was so romantic, but keep in mind my mind sees the craziness of it all and loves it. Heroine is in good hands, if you catch my drift. Very erotic elements. Hero was heroine's first. They made great pair. Dark romance indeed!
Third book was my favorite. Hero was billionaire that wanted babies and he had his radar set on heroine. She fought it but in the end did not stand a chance. Hero was brilliant, nerdy and determined. Heroine was soon won over by his charm (or maybe empathized with his wants) and was soon won over to the dark side. Steamy read. Hero was heroine's first. I thought ending was hot and sweet.

An Interesting Approach

I thought this was pretty solid. I did enjoy how much the main character's frame of mind - and position in the story - changed in such a short time frame. The subject matter is a little dark, but I did enjoy how the author was able to hit on the primal nature of the main character. The author delved deep into that woman and highlighted her basic nature to bear a child for a strong, dominant male.
I thought the basic plot line was pretty solid. She starts the book engaged to some religious guy, and by the end she is pregnant by a stranger.
